Application/Web Developer

Mercury has an opening available for a full-time Application/Web Developer

This opportunity is one which involves maintenance of existing in-house Microsoft-based data transformation project applications, but also developing web-based interfaces/solutions for these applications and upcoming projects. Web-based development is not necessarily based on Microsoft platforms, other options are open.

This is an intermediate (non-senior/non-junior) level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain applications for internal current and legacy data processing projects in a Microsoft environment - VB/VBA/Access.
  • Primary in-house developer for new web-based projects and integration of existing projects.
  • Learning additional programming/scripting languages to support Print/Mail industry-specific software.

Requirements:

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Possess sufficient proficiency with VB and VBA within Microsoft Access for database development on current projects.
  • Possess intermediate level proficiency (or better) with web development.
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Work well in a small-team environment on projects.
  • Be organized, self-motivated, creative, and possess problem-solving skills.

Optional:

  • Knowledge among the following is also in high focus: Python, Java, ASP, JavaScript, Xerox Freeflow/VIPP, Microsoft SQL and SQL-style platforms.

Direct Marketing Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for:

Senior Account Sales Executives
